Brittany Whyte is a music supervisor based in Altadena, California.  Recent television projects include Riverdale (CW), Station 19 (ABC), True Lies (CBS), Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (HBO MAX) and The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu). Recent films include ”Unifinished Business” (Motto Films), “White Hot: The Rise & Fall Of Abercrombie & Fitch“ (Netflix) and The Desperate Hour” (Vertical/Roadside).

Brittany got her start in music at the famous Tower Records on the Sunset Strip.  There she met Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and became his ‘record detective’ for his popular daytime radio show, Jonesy’s Jukebox, on Indie 103.1.  Helping Steve find rare glam rock gems and also providing him with UK bands that hadn’t broken onto the US scene yet, she quickly found that her passion was introducing people to music that hadn’t been discovered yet.  From there she went on to work in A&R at Atlantic Records for 3 years.

In 2007, Brittany started her 13 year run with one of the most influential music supervisors of all time, Alexandra Patsavas, at Chop Shop Music Supervision.  She worked on a variety of films: No Cameras Allowed (MTV), Remember Me (Summit), The Perks Of Being A Wallflower (Summit), The Twilight Saga (Summit), Warm Bodies (Summit) and hit TV shows such as AJ & The Queen (Netflix), Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (Netflix), Chuck (NBC), Gossip Girl (CW), Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), How To Get Away With Murder (ABC), Katy Keene (CW), Mad Men (AMC), Marvel: Runaways (HULU), Scandal (ABC), Sirens (USA), Telenovela (NBC) and YOU (Netflix).

Brittany grew up in San Diego, CA and spent her days playing sports and listening to music.  She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a BA.  She was a standout volleyball player at NYU earning the Freshman Athlete of The Year award as well as Division III First-Team All-America.  She is the mom of two amazing kids and she loves playing tennis.

When you sign up, we will share with you the types of music Brittany is looking for as as she shares them with us a guide for your submissions as well as a link for submitting your songs and the link to the listening session Zoom room.
