Chuck Milan began his lifelong involvement in music at the age of 7, performing in church choirs as a singer and shortly thereafter studied drumming, percussion, lead and backup vocals, performing and in Rock, Jazz, Country, Latin and Blues bands in the Chicago area.

Chuck was also able to get a Business Management Degree from DePaul University in Chicago and, after college, and worked in finance for 9 years with Fortune 500 companies, including Warner Bros., Panasonic and Pepsi-Cola.

After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a full time music business career, Chuck opened Milan Management and represented songwriters and musical artists Thomas Barquee, Michael and Frazer, Gloria Sklerov, Velvet Chain, Trevor McShane and others. While working as an artist manager and volunteering for entertainment industry, events he was invited to work for the National Academy of Songwriters and RP International on their events and publications, which launched his entertainent industry event sponsorship and advertising business, Milan Marketing which involved him with celebrities, entertainment industry moguls, major broadcasting networks, entertainment industry agents, managers, record companies, music publishers, composers, movie and television studios and multi-millionaire entrepreneurs.

Awards events include the Grammy Awards, Vision Awards, American Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and Art Directors Guild Awards. Festivals and conferences he has sold sponsorships for include the National Academy of Songwriters’ Expo, TAXI Road Rally, the International Alchemy Conference, and Los Angeles Women in Music’s Indie Nation. In addition, Chuck has also sold broadcast television advertising space to movie studios and Fortune 500 brands as well as print and website advertising space for entertainment industry trade publications including the NAS’ Songwriter’s Musepaper, American Songwriter Magazine, GRAMMY Magazine, Music BIZ magazine, and others.

Chuck is now representing select independent artists for music licensing of their songs and recordings for film, television, and other media.

Chuck is a member and active in the Guild of Music Supervisors, Association of Independent Music Publishers, California Copyright Conference, Production Music Association, Sync Summit and Sync Cafe, and related organizations.
