Music industry veteran Stuart Hart began his long-standing career as an acclaimed jazz-fusion artist, working with the likes of Dennis Chambers,Mathew Garrison, Gary Granger, and Paul Bollenback.

Partnering with longtime friend Steven Stern , the two co-founded custom music production house Selectracks that was acquired by Bug Music (itself later acquired by BMG Chrysalis). Stuart evolved from Senior Vice President of Production Music at BMG to form Red Shift Artists, a boutique custom music collective, where part of the catalog is administered by BMG.

From his state of the art studio in Santa Monica, CEO/Creative Director Hart oversees a global roster of composers who are the hidden gems of the industry. He and his team of handpicked creative masterminds craft innovative custom music that rings true to clients’ unique vision and leaves an impressive stamp all over the film, television, commercial, and gaming worlds.

Stuart and his teams extensive list of composer and music credits for film include Academy Award winners The Imitation Game and Selma, as well as Monsters University, Hotel Transylvania, Imitation Games, Parenthood, Hawaii 5-0, . His music can also be heard all over TV, including Game of Thrones (HBO), Graceland (USA), 500 Questions (ABC), Leah Remini: It’s All Family Style(TLC), Candidly Nicole (VH1), Duck Dynasty, Auction Hunters, Fat and Furious, national Kia and Netflix commercials as well as the powerhouse video game series Grand Theft Auto.
