Born on the island of Borneo, composer Pei Pei Chung started playing piano at age 4. She trained as a classical pianist and went on to study film scoring at UCLA, where she won the prestigious BMI Jerry Goldsmith Scholarship. She became an avid fan of electronic music early on, and her style is a fusion of classical and electronic elements, which allows her to create unique cinematic and pop sounds for film and TV.

With a Hollywood career spanning almost 20 years, Pei Pei’s clients include NBC, Fox, Discovery, Disney, E!, Columbia Pictures, and Sundance. Her scoring projects range from feature films and documentaries to television series, including the Emmy-nominated “Endurance”. She has written over a dozen television theme songs, created the music for network branding campaigns, and scored commercials and promos. She is also a highly sought-after mixer of trailers and promos for clients that include HBO, Lionsgate, and Magnolia Pictures. Pei Pei is a co-founder of What Up Pitches, a boutique music production house and sync licensing agency committed to providing quality music for all types of TV/film projects.
