Tribazik ready for festivals and tours

TRIBAZIK’s innate power is captured perfectly on their immense new album, Data Warfare

Intellectual and daring, Data Warfare is boundless, dark and beautiful; fusing genres in an avalanche of sound that is empowering whilst mesmerising.

TRIBAZIK create chunky energetic sounds whether triggered via drum pads or fret board. Their ethos is to mix traditional acoustic and electric instruments (guitar, drums and bass) with contemporary electronic sounds, loops and atmospherics whilst maintaining organic groove and feel – all of which are played live. ‘LifeForce Energy’ is a song that also strongly represents the cohesion of traditional rhythmic guitar, bass and drums with sampled sounds triggered LIVE from electronic pads around the kit to create a live powerful sound.

Life Force Energy, taken from album Data Warfare mixed by Youth (Killing Joke/ The Orb/ Dragonfly Records).

TRIBAZIK have been building their status and following- carving out a notable reputation as a cutting-edge, original band that composes unique, innovative, cross-genre songs that push musical boundaries that work both in the rock and dance arena.

Since the inception of their debut album ‘All Blood is Red’ released through Eastworld Records and distributed by Plastichead in 2009, the band have been reaching a wider audience, mainly through two European tours supporting post-punk legends Killing Joke. As well as being mixed by Andy Gill (of Gang of Four fame) the album also features a special guest appearance by Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke) on the track ‘Molten’ the accompanying video of which has reached just under 10,000 hits so far.  February 10th 2014 saw the release of their second anticipated album ‘Data Warfare’ which is mixed by Youth (worked with The Verve, U2, Paul McCartney, The Orb etc.) The album was preceded in May 2013 by a ltd. edition vinyl with remixes by Venetian Snares (Planet Mu), Chris Liberator & Sterling Moss (Stay Up Forever Records) & Ghost (Life4Land).

The band were featured in the ‘Best of 2011’ Bruce Dickinson Show on BBC 6 Music, and have had airplay on BBC Introducing, Total Rock.
