Silfen oversees all music related matters for feature film and television production on behalf of the studio. Additionally, she manages the MGM catalogue of masters and publishing.

Before her current position at MGM, Lori was at New Line Cinema for 15 years, overseeing projects that include Wedding Crashers, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Blade and Elf. She was instrumental in the formation of the New Line Records label, focusing on independent artist development and the release of platinum selling soundtracks including Hairspray and Sex and the City.

While at Nickelodeon/MTV Networks Kids and Family Group, she held the position of vice president, music business and legal affairs.
