Mike Locke – Senior Director, Licensing & Business Development, INgrooves / Co-founder, Silver Side Productions

Mike Locke leads the synch licensing efforts at INgrooves and its publishing division and helps develop the roster.  Since the fall of 2013, he’s been instrumental in securing placements across all media including major campaigns for Google, Starbucks, Royal Caribbean, numerous TV shows, films, trailers and video games. 

Mike co-founded Silver Side Productions in 2011, a successful music licensing, publishing and digital label company where he signed labels and artists and enjoyed landing songs into ad campaigns (Subaru, Budweiser), major motion pictures (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Pt. 2”, “TED”), Television (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “American Idol”, “Parenthood”) and video games.  Mike built his career at Warner Music Group for 10 years where he worked in various capacities before his passion for independent music and ear for recognizing talent enabled him to create his position and carve out a new business line for Rhino and ADA by representing labels and emerging artists for licensing. Mike grew the division from scratch to a formidable business.
