Now, here’s some information on our guest:

Mark Garfield is the founder and co director of Pop-Up Music, a global music library/publisher that provides music for Film, TV and Advertising industry based in London.

Pop-Up Music’s has gained clients television giants BSKYB, BBC and Channel 4 in the UK as well as strong connections with London/worldwide advertising agencies including McCann Erickson and Saatchi and Saatchi and also music supervisors.

As a professional musician Mark has toured and recorded as a drummer for twenty years, playing internationally. In 2011 gaining a BMus degree in drums. Music production has been a constant since making tea as a teenager at his fathers studio helping out on sessions by The Troggs, Thin Lizzys Brain Robertson to name a few  – plus later on co-producing with Eddie Kramer (producer Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones). As a writer he has written with Cream’s lyricist Pete Brown and has songs and interviews (along side Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Martin Scorsese) in the up-coming 2015 bio documentary about Petes life in poetry and music.

Music highlights include festivals: Glastonbury, Paas Pop Holland, Hua Hin Jazz Festival Thailand, Hermitage Park Festival Moscow, SXSW Austin Texas.

Playing alongside artists and bands including: Pete Brown (Cream), Arthur Brown, Micky Moody/Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) David Amran, Hayseed Dixie, Grace In Danger, T.Mandrake, Neck.

When you sign up, we will share with you the types of music Mark is looking for as as he shares them with us a guide for your submissions as well as a link for submitting your songs and the link to the listening session Zoom room.

The Sync Music Listening Sessions connect and your music to a top Music Supervisor, Music Coordinator or Sync Agent who will listen to your music, give you invaluable feedback and connect with you on a personal level.

The Sync Music Listening Sessions are strictly limited to 30 participants, so every single person gets one song of their music listened to, evaluated and shared with the people working on some of the top projects in TV, film, video games, trailers apps, ads, brands and the Internet.

You’ll be able to ask questions, and all playlists from the songs played in the session are archived and shared on the Sync Summit Listening Sessions website.

The cost for taking part in this Listening Session is $100 and includes the session, listing in the Session playlist and access to all session video archives.
