Carlo Cappello is a Paris based guitarist, singer, composer and arranger. In 2017, after completing a three years bachelor in Jazz at IMEP – Paris College of Music (formerly American School of Modern Music), he started his career as a composer/performer, while continuing his studies privately with renowned jazz musicians such as David Patrois, Federico Casagrande and Romain Pilon.
In 2020, after winning a EU funded price for young musicians, he was given the opportunity to record his first album as a leader (CARLOBELLO, available on all platforms); the personnel of this album includes renowned italian session musicians Maxx Furian (Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Paolo Fresu…) and Davide Pezzin (Ligabue, De André…).
Since then, Carlo has been composing and performing in some of the most renowned venues in France (Le Baiser Salé, Sunset-Sunside, Cirque Électrique…), leading a band of young parisian talents and playing his own compositions.
The band’s aesthetics, music videos, teasers and social media are all currently curated by Carlo, who handles video editing and music producing; from this increasing activity of promotion sparkles his interest in the advertising world.
