THE SKIES BETWEEN is an American alternative electronic-rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2020. The band comprises vocalist Rafe Pearlman, keyboard player Fabian Alsultany, drummer/engineer Kazuhiro Itoh, and guitarist/bassist Benefo Ofosu-Benefo.
THE SKIES BETWEEN’s music is an uplifting blend of anthemic alternative rock and electronica with injections of international music from the Middle East and India. With influences ranging from Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, U2, Sigur Ros, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Bob Marley, and Rumi, the music and lyrics convey the universal themes of life’s struggles & triumphs, human rights & justice, and love & romance.
