Judy Leia is a Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter creating cinematic electropop that incorporates her ethereal, sultry vocals into a hybrid production of orchestral instruments with suspenseful drum and electronic elements. Her unique sound can be described as: “Enya meets Lana Del Rey in a Halo soundtrack.”

She began learning piano at age 5 and wrote her first song at age 11 to process the trauma of surviving war. This experience often informs the dark, somber lyrics and haunting melodies in her songs. She enjoys finding inspiration in classical music, Broadway, and film scores with favorite composers that include Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Alan Menken, Stephen Sondheim, Hans Zimmer, Daft Punk, and Imogen Heap.

An emerging artist, Judy Leia is currently in the studio creating more songs for 2021 releases. She is actively seeking representation with a publisher or agency in sync licensing and owns 200% of the rights to her compositions and masters.
