Mr. Gordon’s twenty-five years of experience in the entertainment industry includes more than ten years at Sony Music, where he was director of business affairs.
He specializes in music, television and film – and he has a wide variety of clients: artists, managers, producers, record companies and music publishers. Corporate and institutional clients include Music Choice, Time Life Films, Soul Train Holdings, Smithsonian Museum, Folkways Records, National Museum of African American History and Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
Steve also operates a music and sample clearance service for music producers and filmmakers. Steve Gordon is the author of “The Future of the Music Business” and the 4th edition of the book is to be published in late June of 2015, by Hal Leonard. The book provides a legal and business roadmap to artists, entrepreneurs and music industry professionals for success in today’s music business. Also an educator, Steve is the recipient of two Fulbright scholarships.
