Laura Ostler Kinniburgh is Genius’s inaugural Head of Music Licensing, working on Genius’s video series, branded content, and live events. Prior to joining Genius, Laura handled music clearances and licensing for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at NBC. In that role, she helped produce the iconic music sketches and performances that the show is known for, including “”Lip Sync Battle,”” “”History of Rap,”” and the Emmy-nominated “”Cover Room”” web series. Before her time at NBC, Laura worked for EMI Music Publishing, managing licensing projects for clients such as American Idol, NBC, and Sony Pictures Television.
