After achieving success as a songwriter in the commercial country market over the last decade, Mary Haller shifted her focus to film and TV licensing during the recent pandemic and has thrown herself into it with joy and passion.

Now writing primarily in pop music genres – from indie-pop/rock to R&B/soul/funk to hip-hop – Haller has songs being pitched by prominent sync agents and has had sync placements in network and cable television.

Haller loves solo-writing, top-lining and collaborating with indie artists in all genres. She enjoys the challenge of writing to briefs and the opportunity to be of service to those in the music, film and TV industries.

Formerly an arts administrator and publicist, Haller has been affiliated with a number of Boston-area arts and educational institutions, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she was Director of Arts Communication for sixteen years.

Haller divides her time between Boston, MA and Nashville, TN. She is the proud mom of a college student who turns her on to all kinds of cool music.
