Billy Sullivan was born and raised in New York. He moved to California and started his formal education in music. His main course of study is the Piano, Drums and Percussion.
He’s been working professionally as a musician since the age of 16. And after building his own recording studio, he went onto co-found and play drum in The Imperial Crowns.
Billy also records drums and percussion for film composer David Newman – from 2000 to currently he’s performed on ‘Girls Trip’, ‘Night School’, and ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ to new a few… as well, he’s mixed many of Dave’s film scores.
Billy is accomplished in the scoring of his own movies and TV shows including: “Brothers In Arms” 2018 (Johnny Depp, Charlie Sheen)
“The Truth About Marriage” 2019 (Best Documentary- HIRFF) “Dying to Live” 2017, “The Nature Of Existence”, “Running Wild from Ted Nugent” “Suckers” and “Trekkies” to name a few more.
His original compositions include cues for: Veep HBO, Curb Your Enthusiasm HBO, Crashing HBO, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ ABC
Billy supports The Society of Composers and Lyricists and currently holds a seat on the Board of Directors for The American Youth Symphony.
