Chuck Hughes is an artist in the Rockabilly/Psychobilly genre, a grouping that often includes Rev. Horton Heat, Stray Cats, The Cramps, and original founders Eddie Cochran, Elvis, and Gene Vincent.

Chuck’s music as the Hillbilly Hellcats has been described as “Rockabilly with a punky edge.” Depending on the song, it often incorporates elements of Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Surf, and Hawaiian.
