Michelle is a multi-award winning recording artist and performing singer- songwriter/producer from Maryland. She is a three-time Washington Area Music Award Nominee. Michelle’s CD Courageous Me was released in September 2019. This is her fifth album release. She also has multiple single releases including two singles released by Black Toast Records. One of her most notable accomplishments is winning the Grand Prize in the Folk category of the 2014 John Lennon Song Contest for her song, “Your Footprints” written with fellow songwriter Paul Otten. Michelle’s music has also been heard in Film & TV. Her music was used for the theme song for Gear Heads, a prominent placement in Amazon Video’s Good Girls Revolt & Young Sheldon, songs in Reign, a song in the John Travolta movie Speed Kills, Hallmark’s Hope at Christmas, The Path, ABC Family’s The Fosters, USA’s Benched, Longmire, CBS Inside the PGA, No Tomorrow & More! She performs at venues such as Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, Signature Theatre, and in Concert series such as Focus Music and Stone Room Concerts, Festivals at Leesburg Flower Festival, Main Street Music Fest, Frederick, Maryland’s First Saturdays and more. Michelle’s Indie/Alternative Folk sound is influenced by Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, Tristan Prettyman, Meiko, Birdy, The Lumineers, The Head & The Heart, Warpaint, Florence and the Machine, Hope Sandoval, London Grammar, The XX, Daughter, The Civil Wars, Colbie Caillat, and Oh Honey.
