Paul Rocha describes himself as, “A passionate music nerd with a good ear and an extensive background in music.”

Paul has nearly 20 years experience working for well-known labels & distributors such as: Caroline, Capitol, Astralwerks, Mute, Nettwerk, EMI and Five Seven Music.  He has also worked directly with artists as both a manager and tour manager. In January of 2015, Paul brought his experience and expertise over to the synch & publishing world, becoming North Star Media’s East Coast Senior Creative Director (Brooklyn, NY).  While at North Star Media, Paul has secured high-profile placements in film, television, and advertising.  Some of his recent placement clients include: T-Mobile, American Airlines, CIGNA, Netflix’s House of Cards, Cinemax’s upcoming horror drama Outcast, Universal’s The Purge: Election Year, ZipCar.  In addition, Paul has made great contributions on the A&R front.  He played an instrumental role in the recent publishing acquisition of the first full-length album and EP from critically-acclaimed indie rock band, The Virgins. Paul also facilitated the signings of hot indie artists like The Blind Shake, Gold Star, Crocodiles, New Candys, and more.
