Nicole Churchill is currently the Director of Music Supervision and Licensing, A&R consultant and co- founder of Assemble Sound.

In 2009 her career began as an intern pulling sounds for the creative advertising department at Fox Searchlight before she landed her first paid music gig pitching music at Extreme Music, a sub-company within the SONY/ATV family. After several years of syncing library cues, she transition into the client world and worked as a music supervisor for one of Los Angeles’ top trailer vendor agencies. In her 7+ years in the music supervision field, Nicole has supervised television and film projects and contracted original compositions for branded and story-based projects in all forms of media with companies like Fox, Netflix, Comedy Central, Chevy, HBO, MTV, Sony Pictures, and many more. Her work can be found in major marketing campaigns, hit TV shows, film trailers and corporate reels for almost a decade. In 2014, Nicole relocated to Detroit from Los Angeles and with two partners, founded Assemble Sound, a collaborative artist collective. Assemble Sound is a non-profit recording studio and access point to music made in Detroit. In her non-existent spare time, she is the Detroit representative for Musicians on Call and member of the Guild of Music Supervisors.
