Chris Hernandez is a Licensing Manager at Rimas Publishing, the independent award-winning publisher based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a Full Sail University alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business.
At Rimas Publishing, he focuses on discovering opportunities for his clients’ existing catalogs and helps develop new original works for films, TV, video games, advertising and more. In addition to licensing, Chris guides creatives, helping them explore monetization beyond the traditional licensing avenues.
Chris’ dedication to the industry extends beyond his day-to-day responsibilities. He is a professional member of the Recording Academy, an Associate Member of the Latin Recording Academy, and a Friend of the Guild of Music Supervisors, actively contributing to the advancement of the music and entertainment fields.
In addition to his professional achievements, Chris has a deep interest in film and filmmaking. He is a board member of the Lusca Film Fest in Puerto Rico, where he contributes to the strategic planning and development of the festival. His career in the entertainment industry spans over 10 years, including positions at WB Pictures and 20th Century Fox, where he earned multiple awards for his contributions.
