Tony oversees all aspects of music for the studio’s television programming. Responsibilities include hiring composers & music supervisors – as well as serving as in-house music supervisor himself on projects. SPT’s programming includes literally dozens of shows seen on 20+ content platforms in all genres including game shows, daytime dramas, syndicated series, live programming, unscripted, animation, comedies, dramas, limited series & MOWs. He is also the lead creative executive for the division’s music releases. Current shows include Atypical, Better Call Saul, The Blacklist, Black Monday, The Boys, Celebrity Dating Game, Cobra Kai, The Crown, Dr. Oz, Fantasy Island, The Good Doctor, Jeopardy!, Outlander, Salt n Pepa, Shark Tank, SWAT, Them, Woke and The Young & The Restless. During his tenure, SPT’s programming has been awarded for its music by the Guild of Music Supervisors, the Emmys and numerous ASCAP, BMI and SESAC Film & TV Awards. In 2017, the Guild of Music Supervisors nominated Tony for Best Music Supervision in a Television Limited Series or Movie.

For Tony’s community work, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa awarded him Neighborhood Advocate of the Year. As Board Chair for the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock (CFAER), the organization’s signature event, The Eagle Rock Music Festival (ERMF) gained critical acclaim & attendance increased nearly eight-fold during under his watch, becoming the largest free music festival in the City of Los Angeles. Tony helped coordinate with the Alliance for Women Film Composers (AWFC) & Grand Performances 2016’s “Women Who Score: Soundtracks Live” concert program in Downtown Los Angeles – the world’s first concert honoring female composers in media. In 2018, Tony was part of the diversity & inclusion roundtable organized by the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles with Canada’s Chief Trade Commissioner Ailish Campbell. In 2019, he was part of the inaugural OutSessions program, serving music creatives from the LGBTQ+ community. Since 2019, Tony has been co-curator of music programming for the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF/AMP), which includes keynotes, showcases, master classes, case studies, panels, a music producer lab & a talent accelerator program.

Tony has been a panelist/speaker/moderator for American University, APEM (Association des Professionals de l’edition musicale), ASCAP’S I Create Music Expo; ASCAP’s film composer workshops, the Association of Independent Music Publishers, Atlantic Film Festival, AWFC, Billboard Music conference, the California Copyright Conference, CalCPA, Comic-Con Intl., Guild of Music Supervisors, MIDEM, NATPE, OutSessions, SESAC, Songwriters of North America, UCLA, USC, VIFF and the Whistler Film Festival.
Tony is a member of both the Recording Academy and Television Academy.
